I was ripped off by Gmm Auto salesby truckreviews.ca

My Personal Experience with GMM AUTO SALES
in North York
located @
17 Tangiers Rd.

On June 18th I bought a 2004 Ford Truck xlt with 4x4 and 140 thousand km's by a Danny , the son of the owner of GMM Auto Sales, Mike l located @ 17 Tangiers Rd in North York. I took the truck for a short drive and it seemed great, plus I was totally reassured by Danny the owners son the truck was in amazing shape, he told me the previous owner couldn't afford the monthly payments and he just drove it from London, Ontario to their shop. (boy was I in for a surprise). Well after spending $14000 on a truck, unbenown to me I was going to spend another $1500 to bring it up to Ontario's safety standards and fix any other minor repairs. After Gmm Auto sales safetied and emissioned the truck.

After I paid Gmm auto sales the total sum for the 2004 ford, the problems began before I left the lot and after I paid. Upon leaving their premises the front of the truck started to sqeal really loud. I parked the truck and went inside the office at gmm auto sales and informed Danny that the truck was making a really loud squeal. We went for a drive in the truck and he heard the noise, he said it was probably a shimmied brake( something was loose) and that I could bring it back the following week to get it fixed. Now at the time this happened I was assured by Danny all the brakes were just fixed ( I found out later that they did the back brakes and not the front, so he was bs-ing me there to get rid of me). I brought the truck back a total of 5 times to have it safetied properly with very sad results. At that point I was very frustrated, I had called the owner 6 times in one day and he never ever returned my call. I also never received the history report from them which I asked for 3 times.

After the 5th time dealing with Gmm auto sales regarding the safety issue I spoke with Danny out front about the problems I had and I asked to be reimbursed for my out of pocket expenses (towing the truck back to gmm auto sales and my cab ride up, because the front end of the truck shook violently). This was 5 days after using the vehicle and 40 km later. While asking Danny about reimbursing me , he looked at me and stated sorry but we don't pay for those things. I kind of knew this was going to happen because of the treatment i received after I paid for the truck, it was like I became invisible to them, so I told Danny I was going to write a review about my personal experience dealing with Gmm auto sales. Well Danny found some humour in that statement from me and he gave me a smirk and flipped me off then walked back into his office leaving me there alone. At that moment I stopped dealing with them and I was going to a review of my dealings with this USED TRUCK DEALERSHIP.

BE VERY WEARY WHEN DEALING WITH COMPANIES LIKE THIS, ONCE THEY HAVE YOUR MONIES, THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT ANY ISSUES YOU MAY HAVE.
All they care about is the bottom line , CASH IN THEIR POCKETS. I have paid an additional $1500 to properly bring the truck up to MTO's safety specifications and making it properly road worthy.I wonder if my problems will continue?

When I bought the truck from GMM AUTO SALES they didn't even change the oil in the truck. They sold me a truck with a rebuilt transmission ( without my knowledge). THE PROOF IS ALL OVER MY DRIVEWAY (SUPER STAINED) and they only did the rear brakes on one side. Talk about a sad situation. I was told all the brakes were done (front and back) I have had the vehicle looked over and fixed properly by an independent mechanic which cost me close to $1500 dollars. I WILL NEVER IN MY LIFE DEAL WITH GMM AUTO SALES AGAIN. They provided myself with a very bad experience and wasted a ton of my time. I lost work because I had a truck that didn't go anywhere and was very un road worthy. I feared for my life driving this truck and they didn't give a care at all. I was on my own.

Please use caution when purchasing a vehicle from them, don't take their word for granted or their mechanics. They will say anything to get your hard earned cash and once they have it, your a nobody to them. Its a BUYERS BEWARE MARKET. I am going to report them to the MTO and Better Business Bureau and hopefully then they will be forced to stop treating customers like me this way.

By the way this domain is for sale so that I might recoup my hidden expenses caused by GMM AUTO SALES. Be Very Cautious also when dealing with them.
